Final Round of the Italian International Championship: Montevarchi

Montevarchi (AR), February 16, 2025
The second and final round of the Internazionali d'Italia MX took place on the newly renovated Miravalle track in Montevarchi. Despite heavy rainfall in the days leading up to the event, a sunny weekend allowed the race to go ahead as scheduled.
Julius got off to a decent start in the first MX2 race, but got caught in the middle of the pack in the first corner. He completed the opening lap in 12th position and began his comeback from there. After taking a few laps to get comfortable with the track, he launched a series of overtakes that brought him up to a strong 6th-place finish.
In the second moto, his start was much better, immediately placing him within the top five. After holding his position for several laps, he dropped back one spot and stayed in 6th until the final laps. In a late-race battle with Lata, Julius made a decisive move in the last lap to reclaim the position and finish 6th once again. These results gave him 7th overall for the day.
In the final MX2 standings of the Internazionali d'Italia, Julius secured 6th place—a solid start and a strong launchpad as he now heads to Argentina for the first round of the MX2 World Championship with great excitement.

The team's next commitment will be the first Grand Prix of the 2025 season, taking place in Córdoba, Argentina, on March 1–2.
JULIUS MIKULA:
"It rained a lot the week before the race, so I was surprised that the track was in perfect condition over the weekend. Overall, I'd rate the race positively. In the first moto, I had a good start, but in the opening lap the bike stalled, which cost me a strong position and I had to continue from mid-pack, eventually fighting back to sixth place. In the second moto, I had a better start and at the end of the race had a great battle with another rider to reclaim sixth again. I want to thank my team, my family, and my sponsors for their support. In just a few days, we're heading to Argentina to face the first GP of the year—I can't wait!"
