Julius Mikula Shines in Ottobiano: Second Place in Elite MX2!

Saturday in Ottobiano
After the World Championship, the Italian Pro Prestige also began. Its first stop was the demanding sandy track in Ottobiano (PV), which proved to be a great test for both riders and their bikes.
Our rider Julius Mikula was also on the starting line, representing our team in the Elite MX2 category with the goal of achieving a good result.
In Saturday's qualifying races, he struggled with the demanding sandy surface and finished 5th in his group.
On Sunday, the situation improved from the morning, which was already evident during the warm-up.
Sunday's Races
Both of Julius's motos followed a similar pattern—less than ideal starts followed by impressive comeback rides. In the first race, he set a strong pace that allowed him to climb up to second place, which he held to the finish. The second moto was even more challenging, as he had to recover from a more difficult start. Thanks to excellent overtaking moves, he eventually secured third place.
With these results, Julius finished second overall in the Elite MX2 classification, once again proving his outstanding skills and bringing great satisfaction to the entire team.
What's coming next
Next week, the MXGP of Castilla la Mancha will take place in Cózar, Spain. It will be the second round of the MX2 World Championship. Julius is preparing thoroughly for this race and is determined to fight for top results!

"The weekend in Ottobiano wasn't the easiest for me. In the first race, I didn't have a great start and had to fight my way up the rankings. I managed to get into second place, but the leader already had a big gap. In the second race, unfortunately, I messed up the start again and had to chase from the back. I finished third, which gave me second overall for the weekend. Despite Saturday's struggles, Sunday was much better. I want to thank my team, my family, and everyone who supports us!"
