Italian Championship: Montevarchi
On Sunday, April 27, the third round of the Prestige Italian Championship took place on the Montevarchi track in Italy. Julius Mikula had to contend not only with challenging conditions but also with bad luck in the first moto, where a collision with the gate and a hit from a rock forced him to settle for 9th place. The second moto went much better—after a determined performance, he fought his way to an excellent 4th place, which also earned him 4th overall in the race standings.
This weekend's race took place in Montevarchi. On Saturday, the track was well-prepared and rain was expected—but it never came. As a result, Sunday's conditions remained mostly dry and fairly rocky.
In the first moto, I hit the gate at the start. Later, in the fourth lap, I had a small crash that cost me valuable time. I crossed the finish line in 9th place.
The second moto went much better—I had a solid start and maintained a good pace throughout the race. I finished in 4th place, which also secured 4th overall for the weekend.
Huge thanks to my team and everyone who supports me!
