ABOUT ME

I'm Julius Mikula,

a motocross rider, professional racer, and this is my story...

I was born in Most in 2006, and motorcycles have been a part of my life practically since birth. My father, Julius Mikula Sr., introduced me to this sport because he himself was a racer, and he bought me my first motorcycle when I was just 3 years old.

From my very first steps, I spent time on a motorcycle, learning how to control the machine and gradually falling in love with the speed, adrenaline, and challenges of this sport. Thanks to the support of my family and relentless training, I quickly improved, and soon the first successes followed.

My racing career began to take shape at an early age, but a major turning point came in 2017, when I lined up on the starting gate of national races for the first time. That same year, I took part in the FIM Junior World Championship, where I gained valuable experience and had my first opportunity to compete against the best young riders from around the world. It was then that I realized motocross was not just a hobby—but a life path I truly wanted to follow.

The road to the top hasn't been easy. Motocross is an extremely demanding sport—not only physically, but also mentally. Every day meant hard work during training, hours spent refining my riding technique, and relentless effort to improve. I constantly worked on my physical fitness, mental resilience, and precision, because in this sport, even the smallest details matter. I had to learn how to deal with crashes, setbacks, and injuries—and each time, come back stronger than before.

In 2019, I made my first breakthrough on the international stage, and since then, I've been systematically working on my performance and technique. In 2020 and 2021, I competed in the European EMX Championship, where I had the opportunity to learn from the best riders and gain experience on prestigious tracks. Every race pushed me forward and helped me earn respect within the motocross community.

The year 2022 marked another step forward in my career. I took part in more prestigious races and steadily improved my results in the European series, which opened the door to new opportunities. In 2023, I raced for the Yamaha MJC team and went through one of the most demanding seasons of my career so far. Every race was a challenge, but at the same time, it brought me closer to my dream—to become a consistent rider among the world elite.

I made my debut in the World Championship series at the MXGP of Italy 2024 in Arco. It was a huge moment of fulfillment for me and the beginning of a new chapter in my career. In the same season, I represented the Osička MX Team and raced on a KTM motorcycle. I finished 22nd overall in the MX2 category, which became a great springboard for the seasons to come. Additionally, I competed in the prestigious FIM Motocross of Nations in the MX2 class, where I placed 10th.

On my journey, I'm accompanied and mentored by Pavel Schneider, who helps guide my career and continuously pushes me forward. My family is also a tremendous support—none of my achievements would be possible without them. In motocross, talent alone is not enough—it's about dedication, perseverance, and the relentless desire to push your limits. And that's exactly what keeps me going.

With every season, I strive to push my limits and achieve better results. The year 2025 brings a new challenge—I will be racing for the TM Moto Italia - CRD Motorsport team, riding the TM 250 FI. It's a great opportunity and a strong motivation for me to get closer to the world's top and fight for leading positions.
